Grilled Meatball With Chiles Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 Cup Bulgur -- fine grained
  • 1/2 Cup Parsley -- finely chopped
  • 1 Pound Ground Beef
  • 1/2 Cup Mint -- finely chopped
  • 1 Large Onion -- finely chopped
  • Salt And Pepper -- to taste
  • 1 Large Jalapeno -- finely chopped
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 Small Red Bell Pepper -- finely chopped
  • 2 Teaspoons Garlic -- finely chopped
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Crushed Red Pepper
  • 2 Teaspoons Cumin

Directions
Sprinkle bulgur with a generous amount of water and allow to sit for 30 minutes. Add remaining ingredients, season with salt and pepper and knead to blend. Mix to a paste in a food processor if desired. Shape into 1/4 inch thick patties and either grill over a hot fire or saute in a skillet with the olive oil.
